Philip George Umphenour

Phil was born Jan 15, 1948 to Joseph and Eleanor Umphenour in Girard, Kansas. He served in Vietnam as a Navy Corpsman attached to the Marines (1967-1970). He worked as a machinist for F.A.G Bearings, retiring after 30 years. Phil was a devoted family man for 47 years. He leaves behind wife Judy, son Kyle (Darlene), daughter Marsha Ramm (Casey), Sister Jo Helen Umphenour (Carolyn) and four beloved grandchildren. Preceding in death were his parents, daughter Barbara, sisters Martha Rooney and Connie Duncan. Phil will be remembered for his indomitable spirit, generous and helpful nature. He was greatly loved and will be forever missed. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 21st at 2:00 P.M. at the air chapel in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Wildcat Glades Conservation Center.
