Glenda Sue Griffith of Joplin, Missouri, died July 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin Missouri.

She Was born on July 27, 1949, to  Elree and Noble Chasten, in Cortez, Colorado.
She was a loving daughter, sister, Mother and friend. She loved the lord Jesus with all her heart and witnessed to everyone.

Glenda is survived by, 3 children; Michele (David) McKenzie Of Vinemont, Alabama, Brandon Breedlove of Miami, Oklahoma, Sharity Breedlove of Joplin, Missouri, 7 Grandchildren Brittnee (Eric) Widner of Cullman, Alabama, Kristee (Colby) McNeal of Cullman, Alabama, Arron (Breanna) Enochs of Joplin, Missouri, Braylon Breedlove of Miami, Oklahoma, Anna Merriman, Katelyn Merriman, Elizabeth Merriman. 6 Great- Grandchildren Hadley, Isla Widner, Eliza, Kaedyn, Braxtyn, Aiden Enochs.
Siblings Vesta Butler of Cortez, Colorado, Lendell (Rose) Chasten of Montrose, Colorado, Paul (Susan) Chasten of Joplin,  Doug (Linda) Chasten of Joplin, Missouri, Sharon (James) Southwick of St.Louis, Missouri, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willis Griffith, Parents, Elree and Noble Chasten, brothers Lester Chasten, Bob Chasten, Cecil Chasten and sister Esta Faye Harrington.

She will be cremated, with Service to follow at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory.

  1. Glenda was a big influence to me in the 70s. I will treasure the album, and time she spent with me. I had fun with Billy Griffith in Cotopaxi…
