Joplin, MO – The Carr family announces, with great sadness, the unexpected passing of Jackie Lee Carr, 66, from sudden heart complications caused by an infection. Jack served in the US Army as a Combat Engineer from 1969 until 1986. He was a proud and avid supporter of Sarcoxie athletics. His most proud accomplishment and most fond enjoyment in life was always his children and grandchildren. Jack will forever be remembered by his friends and family, but moves on to join his mother and father, Winston and Audrey Carr.
He departs this world leaving behind his wife of 29 years, Debbie Carr, his sons; Jeremy, Josh and Jonathan, his step-daughter, Dawn Hartman, his brothers; Tom, Bill, Bob and Brian, and his grandchildren; Aubrey, Kylee, Brooklyn, Brayden, Kanion, Kamiah, and Benton.
A graveside service will be held celebrating the life and memory of Jack on Wednesday, July 4th at 9:00 AM at Fasken Cemetery, Carthage, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory, Joplin, MO.
